12/7 Les Misérables / Opera House Players
A musical by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg, Lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer
The Opera House Players are pleased to announce auditions for the 2013-2014 season finale musical
Auditions will be held at the Broad Brook Opera House, 107 Main Street , Broad Brook CT 06016. Auditioners
should prepare 16 bars of a song from the show or in a similar Broadway style. Also, be prepared for cold
readings from the script. An accompanist will be provided, but auditioners should bring their own sheet music
and/or scores (neither will be provided by the theatre). A photo and résumé are recommended, but not required.
Youth auditions are Saturday, 12/7/13 @ 12 noon-4pm.
Adult auditions will be held Sunday 12/8/13 @ 6-9pm; and Monday 12/9/13 @7-10pm.
A sign-up sheet will be available upon arrival at the theatre. Actors are seen in the order of sign-in. Callbacks by
invitation on Tuesday, 12/10/13 @7pm.
Rehearsal dates for the production are Tuesday & Thursday 7-9:30pm, Sundays 1-6pm, beginning February 4,
2014. Performance dates are May 2-18, 2014.

The Little Theatre brings back their WILDLY successful LOVE SONG CABARET with the 2014 ANTI-LOVE
SONG CABARET. Come sing songs of heartbreak and love lost as we search for love this winter.

The Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich’s Theatre Program is proud to announce auditions for it's mainstage
musical, "Bye Bye Birdie: Young Performers Edition”
BYE BYE BIRDIE is one of the most captivating musical shows of our time. An English Teacher, What Did I Ever
See in Him?, Put on a Happy Face, One Boy, A Lot of Livin' to Do, Kids, Rosie and Spanish Rose are musical
theatre classics. This is the tops in imagination and good old fashion fun.
BYE BYE BIRDIE tells the story of a rock and roll singer who is about to be inducted into the army. The singer,
Conrad Birdie, an Elvis Presley type, has a pompadour and thick sideburns; he wears gaudy gold costumes
and speaks in a rugged voice. Albert Peterson, his agent, is a very pleasant mild mannered young man.
Albert's faithful secretary Rose Alvarez keeps him and Birdie moving forward in the world. Rosie concocts one
final national publicity plan before Conrad's induction.
Auditions will be held on December 12 & 13 at 6:00 pm-9:00 pm at the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich (4
Horseneck Lane, Greenwich, CT 06830). Greg Cicchino will direct the musical, Rocco Natale will serve as the
Artistic Producer. Performances will occur May 2 & 3, 2014. Young people ages 6-18 are encouraged to
audition. Auditoners should prepare an acapella song and be prepared to sing as well as read from a script.

Troupe members will create and perform a themed cabaret including a combination of group songs, solos,
duets, trios, dances and scenes. This group will perform their own show, as well as performing at various
venues throughout Greater Hartford. Additional rehearsals may be required to prepare for appearances.
